Browns Intercept Rivers Twice in 32-23 Victory Over Colts

The Cleveland Browns defense stepped up when the team need them the most, nabbing a pick-six and forcing a safety to put away the pesky Indianapolis Colts. Following a an impressive 32-23 win over the Colts, the Cleveland Browns move to a 4-1 record for the first time since the 1994 season.

With Browns bellcow tailback Nick Chubb out due to injury, Baker Mayfield was relied upon heavily. The Cleveland gunslinger found the endzone twice while throwing for a total of 247 yards. Following a hot start in the passing game, the Colts made much needed adjustments to slow down Mayfield. The Colts were able to pressure the Cleveland quarterback in the second half, forcing two interceptions that ultimately kept the Colts in the game.

Former Pro Bowl kicker Cody Parkey put the Colts away on a 46-yard field goal that bounced off the left upright before passing the uprights, with Myles Garrett gleaming with happiness from the Browns sideline.

Kareem Hunt led the Browns rushing attack with 72 yards on 20 carries. Despite having two dropped passes, Jarvis Landry led the Browns in receiving yards with 88 yards on four catches. Odell Beckham Jr continues to settle into his role in Cleveland, lighting up the Colts for 5 catches that resulted in a total of 58 yards. Rashard "Hollywood" Higgins found the endzone for the first time this season on a 15 yard reception from Baker Mayfield.

Browns edge rusher Myles Garrett continues to be the best defensive player in the NFL, wreaking havoc in the Indianapolis backfield. Garrett forced a turnover for the 8th time this season and sacked Rivers twice in another incredible performance.

The Cleveland Browns will now look ahead to their divisional rival Pittsburgh Steelers as they will be battling it out on Sunday, October 18th. Kickoff is set for 1:05 pm ET at Heinz Field in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Check out highlights from today's win below!
