(Kent) - In an effort to help prevent the spread of COVID-19, Kent State University has made a change in its spring semester schedule.
Spring break in 2021 at Kent will be moved from March 29-April 4, to April 12-18. After spring break, classes at Kent will continue only remotely for 11 instructional days, and then through final exams. The change is being made to reduce transmission of COVID-19 because of excessive spring travel.
The Ohio State University, for similar reasons, has eliminated the traditional spring break week this academic year, instead giving students two days off during spring semester.
