Governor DeWine Lays Out Guidelines for Fall Sports

Columbus - Ohio Governor Mike DeWine says fall sports are a go in the buckeye state, sort of.

He is giving the okay for schools across the state to resume and play this fall, but, is also allowing those who wish to re-schedule fall sports to the spring to do so as well.

This is good news for those in sports like Football, Soccer and Cross Country.

As for spectators at sporting events, DeWine says only family or those closest to student-athletes can attend, though he will leave the overall decision to have fans at events to each individual school district.

The Governor added that it is up to the schools, coaches and student athletes to keep COVID-19 out of sports for the season.
