(Cleveland) - Ohio's largest craft brewery will be putting more of its beer into cans.
Great Lakes Brewing Company has taken over a warehouse in Strongsville, which will become a state-of-the-art canning facility.
The beer will still be made at Great Lakes' brewery in Ohio City, then it will be taken by tank truck to Strongsvile to be put in cans.
The granddaddy of local craft breweries actually started putting some beer in cans a couple years ago, but that was through an arrangement with another brewer. The CEO of Great Lakes Brewing, Mark King, told cleveland.com they expect the majority of their product to be in cans, rather than bottles, in just two years.
