Schools Still Deciding On Whether To Teach Totally Remotely

(Cleveland) - No matter what school district you're in, if it's in Cuyahoga County, it could be starting the year remotely.

So far, only the Cleveland and Shaker Heights school districts have said they will start the year with remote learning only. However, that may change.

Cuyahoga County Board of Health spokesman Kevin Brennan told cleveland.com they are talking about having all of the county's school districts start with remote learning, saying, "We are presently discussing the situation but have not made any recommendation to date."

The Cleveland Metropolitan School District has said remote learning will be done for at least the first nine weeks. The superintendent of the Shaker Heights City Schools says they're preparing for "an extended period of time like a semester."
