(Olmsted Township) - Olmsted Township Police were called out early Thursday morning to a situation in which a man barricaded himself inside a house, after he pulled a handgun on his brother.
Police say that at 2:26 a.m., they were called out to 8539 Homestead Drive, where a 25-year-old man had pointed a gun at his 30-year-old brother. Dispatch was told that the older brother barricaded himself in the bathroom, but also told 911 that their father was asleep in the house, and there were several other firearms in the house.
At some point, the older brother and the father both got out of the house unharmed.
Police then tried to contact with the suspect over the phone and through a PA system. The Southwest Enforcement Bureau was called to the scene.
Homes in the area were evacuated as a precaution.
