Two Murder Suspects Arrested Within Hours in Cleveland

MEMEBRS OF THE NORTHERN OHIO VIOLENT FUGITIVE TASK FORCE JUST ANNOUNCED THE ARREST OF TWO MURDER SUSPECTS IN CLEVELAND.

(Cleveland, OH) - Members of the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force just announced the arrest of two murder suspects in Cleveland.

Damon Vaughyn Levelle Johnson, 27, and Denico Carson, 29 are now in Police custody. Johnson was wanted by the East Cleveland Police Department for a homicide that occurred July 10th. Johnson and his brother shot and killed a victim in East Cleveland and will now be at the Cuyahoga County jail until his court appearance. ]

The Fugitive Task Force gathered information that Denico Carson was hiding in a home on the 3300 block of Tampa Ave. in old Brooklyn.

Carson has been wanted by the Cuyahoga County Sheriff's Department for almost a year to the day for numerous drug charges, failing to comply with orders of the police and involuntary manslaughter.

U.S. Marshal Pete Elliott added, “Hard work and our strong partnership with the community led to the capture of these two suspects.We will continue to work hard for our community to keep it’s citizens safe from violent individuals such as this.”
