Cuyahoga County Sends Out Letters To Alleged Mask Violators

(Cleveland) - Cuyahoga County has begun its crackdown on businesses that have been reported to its hotline set up to report non-compliance with the governor's orders for the wearing of face masks.

On Monday, the county sent out 766 letters to the reported businesses. Cleveland.com reports they're fairly standard letters, not giving an exact complaint, just saying they had either an employee not masked, a customer not masked, masks not worn properly, a sign saying masks are not required, and employees not enforcing the requirement to wear a mask.

The county's hotline is 216-698-5050. The City of Cleveland has its own hotline, 216-857-7165.
