(Cleveland,Oh) Ohio Secretary of State Frank LaRose is reminding voters to register in an upcoming Voter Registration Campaign called "Raise a Glass to Democracy" in which over 30 breweries across the state help inspire patrons to cast their ballot for the 2020 Election. Secretary LaRose is teaming up with Rhinegeist Brewery and the Ohio Craft Brewers Association.

The will be at participating breweries marked right on the can or bottle and states, "every vote counts". Go to www.voteohio.gov to register and see a list of all participating locations.

Most breweries are expected to have their beers for sale by early September. In Northeast Ohio, participating breweries include Avon, Great Lakes, HiHO and Sibling Revelry along with Clubhouse in Warren, and Paladin and Penguin City in Youngstown.

"If you look back at the founding of this country, there are great stories of how some of the ideas for the American Revolution actually began in pubs on the East Coast." Secretary LaRose told WTAM in an interview. He continued, "This program is proof that we love voters and we want every Ohioan to be a registered voter and that is exactly what we are trying to do with this initiative."

Rhinegeist will release its beer Friday, Aug. 24.

To register to vote go to VoteOhio.gov. Registration deadline is Monday, Oct. 5, for the general election on Tuesday, Nov. 3.
