Warren Homicide Suspect Arrested in Austintown

Youngstown - Late Tuesday morning, members of the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force arrested 24-year-old Charles Parker. Parker was wanted by the Warren Police Department for homicide.

According to police, on June 29th, Parker was involved in a verbal altercation with the victim, Robert Johnson at Quimby Park in Warren.After the altercation Parker left the area only to return and shoot the victim numerous times.

Members of the task force immediately began investigating the case and whereabouts for Parker.

Tuesday, they were able to narrow down his location to the 4600 block of Deer Creek Ct. in Austintown.

U.S. Marshal Pete Elliott commented “The task force worked closely with Warren Police Detectives once a suspect was identified to get him off the streets and behind bars quickly.”
