Cleveland - – The Cuyahoga County Board of Elections is inviting residents to visit Dave’s Supermarket at 1929 East 61st Street in Cleveland to register to vote and/or update their voter registrations.
The event will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Friday, June 19th.
Board of Elections staff will be located at the front of the store and will offer drive-thru service in the parking lot.
The Board reminds voters that if they have moved or changed their name since they last voted they must update their registration.In addition to voter registration the Board will be accepting applications for temporary election officials and precinct election officials as well as providing Vote-by-Mail Ballot Applications.
“Juneteenth commemorates a very important event in our Country’s history,” said Anthony Perlatti, Director of the Board of Elections.“This is a great opportunity to honor Juneteenth by getting prepared to cast your ballot in the November Presidential Election.”
Perlatti also tells WTAM 1100 that county Executive Armond Budish and Councilwoman Yvonne Conwell will be in attendence.
