(Cleveland) - An airline employee is under investigation for a security incident at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport.
A statement from the city says that on Tuesday, an airline employee notified the airport's compliance office of a possible security violation. Security footage determined that last Saturday, another airline employee came through a security door, then walked to a flight gate, without going through a TSA checkpoint.
TSA regulations say that any employee must go through a checkpoint before they fly.
Staff of the airport suspended the employee's access credentials, and notified TSA of the incident.
