(Cleveland) - Because of the damage done by looters over the weekend, and the partial extension the downtown curfew, all of the city and county court buildings in Cleveland will be closed until Monday, June 8.
This affects Cuyahoga County Court of Common Pleas, Cleveland Municipal Court, Cleveland Housing Court, Cuyahoga County Juvenile Court, the Eighth District Court of Appeals.
Until Monday, June 8, the Justice Center, the Lakeside Courthouse, Juvenile Court, and Courthouse Square buildings will be accessible only to essential personnel.
All events scheduled in the courts are postponed with the exception of jail arraignments.
The courts and the Clerk of Courts office will be available to handle emergency matters.
