Rite Aid Expands Eligibility For Free COVID-19 Testing

(Undated) - If you want to be tested for coronavirus, Rite Aid drug stores have expanded their free drive-up testing.

Rite Aid will now allow you to take one of their free COVID-19 tests if you are over 18, and experience symptoms like fever, cough, shortness of breath, chills, muscle pain, headache, or loss of taste or smell.

Previously, the testing had been available only to people in certain groups such as first responders, health care workers, and people who either live in or work in a long-term care facility.

Rite Aid is offering the free tests at its stores at State and Snow Roads in Parma, and South Main Street near Turkeyfoot Lake Road in Green. The other Ohio locations offering the testing are in Holland and Girard.

You must register in advance online to take the test.
