It appears Northeast Ohio has had its first arrest for violating the Governor's stay-at-home order. Avon Police say 39-year-old Eric Bates was arrested after concerns of shoplifting Tuesday afternoon. Police received a call that Bates was in the Avon Costco and ran from police upon their arrival. After a short chase, Bates was caught and later charged with theft, obstructing, possession of drug paraphernalia and violating the Governor's order.

He is being held in the Lorain County Jail.
