NBA All Star Andre Drummond now a Cavalier

Thursday was the NBA trade deadline. Many excepted the Cavs to make a move and part ways with Kevin Love or Tristan Thompson. But instead the Cavs brought in two time NBA All Star Andre Drummond. Drummond a two time NBA All Star was Traded to the Cavs for John Henson, Brandon Knight and a second round pick.

Andre Drummond is the League leader in double-doubles has a average of 17.8 points 15.8 rebounds in 49 games the Cavs and coach Beilein hope that Drummonds style of play can translate for the Cavs. Now the Cavs have one of the deepest rotation of big men in the league with Kevin Love, Larry Nance Jr, Tristan Thompson and the newly added Andre Drummond. Should be interesting to see what Coach Beilein and the Cavs can do with this talent to build for the future. Drummond may be a piece long term if all works out.

The cavs are back on the court Sunday as the Los Angeles Clippers come to Cleveland to play the Cavs at 7:30pm listen live on WTAM 1100.
