Cleveland - Cuyahoga County Prosecutor Michael C. O’Malley has announced that a Grand Jury has returned an indictment charging 30-year-old Daniel Gonsor for sexually assaulting two teenagers between June 2015 and July 2019.
“Gonsor violated his position of authority and trust and he will be held accountable,” said Prosecutor O’Malley.
Gonsor has been indicted on the following charges:
·1 count of Rape
·2 counts of Attempted Rape
·2 counts of Sexual Battery
·2 counts of Felonious Assault
·2 counts of Endangering Children
·2 counts of Corrupting Another With Drugs
·9 counts of Gross Sexual Imposition
The case was investigated by the Lakewood Police Department.
Gonsor, who also serves as a Firefighter in Cleveland, will reportedly also have a pre-disciplinary hearing with the Director of Public Safety in the near future to determine his employment status.
Gonsor is scheduled to be arraigned February 19th at 8:30am at the Cuyahoga County Justice Center.
