The Cavs were able to hold on and get the win in Minnesota. Garland and Sexton lead the way for the Cavaliers both finishing the night with 18 points followed by Tristan Thompson with 12 and Kevin Porter Jr lead all bench players as he finished the night with 10.
1st Quarter
The Cavs started off strong out scoring the Timberwolves early and often. The quarter started with Tristan Thompson going 2-2 on his free throws. But the quarter also saw, Both Nance and Garland Hit 3 pointers to help the Cavs get the lead early in the game.
2nd Quarter
In the 2nd quarter the timberwolves would try to comeback by playing defense and it worked holding the cavs to 22 points in the second quarter. But luckily the Cavs would still lead going into the half by the score of 49-43.
3rd Quarter
In the quarter both teams would struggle to make shots. this would be the only quarter both teams were held to under 20 points. The Cavs would out score the Timberwolves 18 points to 17, But would continue to lead at the end of the quarter 67-60 heading into the 4th quarter.
4th Quarter
For all the struggles both teams had in the 3rd. Both the Cavs and The Timberwolves seem to learn for those mistakes as both teams played to the best potential in the 4th. This would be the only quarter that the Timberwolves would out score the Cavs. Thou the timberwolves would get the lead late in the game, the cavs were able to overcome the lead and get the league back and go on to win the game. 94-88
