(Avon) - I-90 eastbound between State Route 83 and 611 opened this morning after being closed for 12 hours. A tractor-trailer rig carrying U.S. mail was involved in a crash Wednesday night.
Investigators report that the trucker hit the semi loaded with mail, which was unoccupied at the time, but erupted into flames while fuel began to spill.
The mail was later collected that the torched truck was tow away. The trucker suffered minor injuries.
