13th Annual Gun Buyback Nets Over 150 Weapons

Cleveland - The 13th annual Cleveland Police Gun Buyback a success.

Officers say 156 guns were turned in for the event, the total now sitting at well over 3400 guns turned in over the events 13-year run.

Mayor Frank Jackson has praised the event, saying it takes deadly weapons off the streets and helps reduce crime in the city.

The event was held at the Third District Headquarters off Chester Avenue Saturday, October 19th.
