Johnson & Johnson Ordered To Fork Over A Half Billion Dollars

An Oklahoma judge finds Johnson & Johnson and it subsidiaries fueled the opioid crisis in the state, so he ordered them to pay 572 million-dollars to help abate the problem in the coming years. It's the first opioid case to go to trial out of roughly 15-hundred lawsuits filed by state and local governments against opioid manufacturers and distributors. Johnson & Johnson says it will appeal the ruling.
