Browns Training Camp Notes, Aug. 12, 2019

·The following players did not practice today due to injury WR Antonio Callaway (ankle), T.J. Carrie (hamstring), TE Seth DeValve (concussion), C Kyle Kalis (concussion), TE David Njoku (knee), DE Jarrell Owens (groin), DT Brian Price (concussion), WR Damion Ratley (hamstring) and CB Tavierre Thomas (hamstring).

·Recently signed TE Rico Gathers will wear jersey number 82.

·A total of 120 puppies have been adopted at the Browns Puppy Pound at training camp this year. At the Puppy Pound, fans have the opportunity to meet local animals in need of homes. Since the program’s launch in 2015, 480 puppies from the Northeast Ohio Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) were adopted by Browns fans at training camp practices. New this year, Sugardale will provide new owners with a puppy starter kit (while supplies last), as well as host a station for the family’s first photo together.

·During today’s practice session, 58 kids and chaperones from East Cleveland City Schools and the Salvation Army of East Cleveland attended camp as special guests of LB Christian Kirksey.

·Through Browns Give Back, the team held its final Browns Play Football! “Bring the Dawgs Out” day, which welcomed coaches and players from Avon High School as VIP guests. On select days of camp, the Browns host local youth and high school football teams to form a tunnel and greet Browns players and coaches as they take the practice field.
