Bay Village -
On August 9, at 12:24am, Bay Village Police stopped a vehicle on Cahoon Road north of Wolf Road for numerous moving traffic violations. Police spoke with the male operator, a 42 year old North Royalton resident, who appeared to be under the influence. The male failed field sobriety tests and was placed under arrest. On station, the male submitted to an Intoxilyzer test which showed a .20% blood alcohol content. He is facing charges in Rocky River Municipal Court.
On August 10, at 1:46am, Bay Village Police stopped a vehicle on Lake Road east of Douglas Road for numerous moving traffic violations. Police spoke with the male operator, a 60 year old Seven Hills resident, who appeared to be under the influence. The male failed field sobriety tests and was placed under arrest. On station, the male submitted to an Intoxilyzer test which showed a .147% blood alcohol content. He is facing charges in Rocky River Municipal Court.
On August 11, at 12:56am, Bay Village Police stopped a vehicle on Kenilworth Road near Osborn Road for equipment violations. Police spoke with the male operator, a 50 year old Bay Village resident, who appeared to be under the influence. The male failed field sobriety tests and was placed under arrest. On station, the male refused to submit to an Intoxilyzer test. He is facing charges in Rocky River Municipal Court.
