Rocky River - For those needing police assistance in Rocky River, the police station will be closed beginning Tuesday, July 30th.
The station, located at 21012 Hilliard Boulevard, is closed while the building is demolished and a new police station is constructed.
A temporary police station housing administrative services is located at 20325 Center Ridge Rd. in Rocky River; access to the building is off of Linden Road just south of Center Ridge Rd.
Telephone and 911 services will be unchanged during this transition, but lobby traffic may be disrupted. The lobby at the temporary police station on Center Ridge Road will be open no later than 7:00 AM on Wednesday, July 31st.
The Rocky River Jail is also closed during construction. This means Rocky River prisoners will be housed at neighboring municipal jails.
Anyone in need of police services should dial (440) 331-1234 to speak with a dispatcher or, in the case of an emergency, dial 911.
