(CLEVELAND) They've bottled the magic of an All-Star Game. To commemorate the 2019 MLB All-Star Game, Wines By Design has released 250 cases of a Limited-Edition North Coast, Sonoma County Chardonnay for the event. The 2019 Midsummer Classic Chardonnay will be sold alongside the Cleveland Indians Club Series wine, a Cabernet Sauvignon. These wines are both available in select local retailers, restaurants, and featured at MLB events during All-Star Week. The Cleveland Indians host the All-Star Game at Progressive Field on July 9th.
"After tasting this chardonnay," says Kristin Trimble of Wines By Design, "we just knew it was going to be the perfect chilled white wine for fans to enjoy not only on game day but all summer."
The All-Star Game Chardonnay is the seventh annual Midsummer Classic wine to join the Club Series Collection. This year’s wine exhibits bright citrus, apple notes, and a refreshing tropical overtone. The Cleveland Indians Cabernet Sauvignon is a full-bodied red that features intense aromas of cherry, toned by a hint of oak.
The wine is available at a variety of retailers across the area.
