Cleveland - The Center Street Swing Bridge over the Cuyahoga River in downtown Cleveland is closed, according to city officials.

The closure reportedly due to mechanical issues.
"I've been living here since last July, and something like this has never happened before, it's a real inconvenience," says Jocelyn, who lives in the apartments next to the bridge.
Derrick does too, and says he's also worried about the local businesses if things don't get fixed quick.
"I was at The Flat Iron last night, and workers there say it effects business. Hopefully they figure it out soon."
The alternative route while repairs are being made is from Columbus Road, to Franklin Avenue, to West 25th Street and then onto Main Avenue.
