Fugitive Of The Week: Devon Peyton Wanted For Aggravated Murder

Cleveland, OH - The Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force is offering a reward for information which would lead to the capture of fugitive Devon Peyton. Peyton is wanted by the United States Marshals Service and the Cleveland Division of Police for aggravated murder. It is alleged that on Sept. 17, 2018, Peyton shot and killed Gerald Hayes, 29, in the driveway of a residence located near the 1000 block of E. 146th Street in Cleveland.

Peyton, 28, is a black male, standing approximately 5 feet 7 inches and weighing 195 pounds. Peyton’s last known address is near the 200 block of E. 238th Street, Euclid. Peyton is known to frequent the area of E. 143rd Street and St. Clair Ave. in Cleveland. Peyton is to be considered armed and dangerous.
