Garfield Heights, OH - The Garfield Heights Police with the assistance of the Cleveland office of the FBI arrested and charged 49-year-old Jason E. Smith of Bedford in connection with two bank robberies. Smith allegedly robbed the Ohio Catholic Credit Union on Rockside Road of more than $2,000 on April 2nd and an undisclosed amount of cash from the First Federal of Lakewood branch also on Rockside Road on April 29th. Smith was arrested from his home in Bedford without incident on May 10th.
