Milwaukee Cruises Past Cavaliers 127-105

MILWAUKEE, WISC -- The Cavaliers faced off against the Milwaukee Bucks for the second time in five days, as the Cavaliers defeated the Bucks in their last meeting, 107-102. There was one big difference between tonight's game and Wednesday night, that difference was Giannis Antetokounmpo. Giannis sat out for the last matchup between these two teams, but was the clear difference maker this time around. The Milwaukee offense was red-hot from the jump, as the cruised into halftime with a 68-55 lead. Bucks' center Brook Lopez had the hot hand for the Bucks in the first half, knocking down 4 3-pointers.

The 13-point halftime deficit proved to be too much for the Cavaliers to get back into the game. Every time the Cavs got something going, the Bucks had an answer. Giannis Antetokounmpo took home the player of the game honors, and it was well deserved. Antetokounmpo lit up the Cavaliers for 26 points, 10 rebounds, and 7 assists. Brook Lopez cooled off in the second half, butt still finished with a solid line of 14 points and 6 rebounds. Former Cavalier George Hill provided 17 points off of the bench for MIlwaukee, helping them defeat the Cavaliers by the final score of 127-105.

Kevin Love led all Cavaliers in scoring, putting up 20 points and securing an impressive 19 rebounds. Collin Sexton was held to 18 points on 6-15 shooting, and Cavs' sixth man Jordan Clarkson scored 19 points off of the bench.

The Cavaliers will look to bounce back with a win on Tuesday night, as they will take on the feisty Boston Celtics in Cleveland. Tip-off is set for 7:00 PM ET at Quicken Loans Arena.
