Cleveland Man Claims Girlfriend Abducted From East Side Intersection

(Cleveland) -- UPDATE: CLEVELAND POLICE HAVE ANNOUNCED THAT CHRISTINE MCKEEVER HAS BEEN FOUND SAFE.

Cleveland police are searching for a woman whose boyfriend claims she was abducted off the street overnight on Cleveland's east side.

Christine McKeever is 24 years old. Her boyfriend told police that she was speaking with a man through an open car window in the parking lot of a gas station, located at Woodland Avenue and Woodhill Road. He then claims someone got out of the car, and forcibly put McKeever in the car, before speeding away. The boyfriend was in a parked car down the street, and claims that - by the time he could catch up - the car had disappeared.

That intersection is very near the Cleveland Public Housing Authority.

If you have any information as to the whereabouts of Christine McKeever, you are asked to call Cleveland Police.
