Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD) is a fatal progressive disorder that causes loss of muscle function and independence. John Owen’s Adventure Inc. (JOA) is dedicated to discovering a treatment, improving research and establishing education and awareness programs about DMD for all individuals who are affected by this disease.
