Cleveland - Shake Shack is serving up its all natural burgers, crispy fries, and coveted shakes at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport (CLE) – its second location in the Cleveland area.
A standout in the main terminal food court, the new modern day ‘airside’ burger stand is sure to be a hit with CLE diners. The New York-based restaurant has earned a cult-like following around the world with locations popping up as far as Singapore’s soon-to-open Jewel Changi Airport.
“We’re pleased to bring this wildly popular casual dining concept to the airport and offer passengers more of what they crave on the go,” said Tina LaForte, vice president of Fraport Cleveland, developer of the retail program at CLE. “Shake Shack is known for delicious, fresh-made food and premium ingredients. It’s perfect for today’s tastes.”
Travelers have their pick of Shake Shack’s 100% all natural Angus burgers, chicken sandwiches, flat-top dogs, crinkle-cut fries, classic shakes and frozen custards. The vanilla and chocolate custards are made with real sugar and milk from dairy farmers who pledge never to use growth hormones.
Breakfast lovers can also start their day with a variety of griddled Egg n’ Cheese sandwiches, cold brews and Stumptown Shack coffee roasted in Brooklyn.
“Shake Shack puts a new spin on classic American food,” said Airport Director Robert Kennedy. “The response has been outstanding. We are thrilled to welcome this critically acclaimed eatery to the airport and offer travelers a fresh take on foods they grew up with.”
All beef, chicken, and pork are 100% natural with no added hormones or antibiotics. Shake Shack also uses cage-free eggs and non-GMO potato buns.
Hours are 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday. Breakfast will be served from 4 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. in the coming weeks.
