(CLEVELAND) FirstEnergy is working to restore power to thousands of people as strong winds knocked customers off-line. Mayfield Public Schools are closed today because of the power outages.
More than 16,000 customers are without power early this morning according to the FirstEnergy outage map. To report a FirstEnergy outage, you can call 1-888-LIGHTSS.
Residents in Cleveland are also facing outages, according to ClevelandPublicPower. Call 216-664-3156 to report an outage with CPP.
The National Weather Service has canceled a High Wind Warning but a Wind Advisory remains in effect through 1:00 this afternoon.
