GOODYEAR, Ariz. -- The Cleveland Indians opened Cactus League exhibition play with a 3-3 draw after 10 innings against the Cincinnati Reds. It was the spring training opener for both clubs.

The Indians took a 2-0 lead in the second frame when Tyler Naquin homered and Ryan Flaherty delivered an RBI double that scored Tribe catcher Roberto Perez.

Adam Plutko got the start for Cleveland and threw two scoreless innings.

The Reds tied the Tribe in the fourth inning at 2-2 when Matt Kemp ripped a 2-run game-tying homer.

From that point on, the two Ohio clubs traded a run for the 3-3 tie.

The Indians return back to Cactus League action on Sunday at Goodyear Ballpark when they host the Arizona Diamondbacks. First pitch is set for 3:05 pm ET.
