CLEVELAND-The Cleveland Cavaliers are starting to get used to winning again on a regular basis as they defeat the Phoenix Suns 111-98 which gives the Cavs their second victory in three games (would've been three in a row if it wasn't for 3 overtimes against the Brooklyn Nets. The Suns fell to a franchise-record 16th straight loss and now have the worst record in the NBA (11-49).
The Cavs followed former NBA All-Star Kevin Love as he played 22 minutes in his third game back from foot surgery. Love had 16 points and 11 rebounds which allowed leading scorer Cedi Osman to put in 19 points. Plus, it was the Dunk Show for Larry Nance Jr.
Cavs led by as many as 17 points in the fourth quarter after going on a 10-0 run late in the third quarter. This was after they were down 72-71 to the Suns.
Some fans may be looking into the NBA Draft lottery status as the Cavs (13-46) now have the second worst record instead of the worst with the Suns (11-49). Bottom three teams have the equal 14 percent chance of landing the number one overall pick in the 2019 NBA Draft. This is different from previous seasons when the worst team had a 25 percent chance at the number one pick. Of course, Zion Williamson's health is in question when his shoe broke and sprained his knee less than a minute into Wednesday night's game against North Carolina.
But for now, the Cavs are looking to build the 2018-2019 Cavs team.
