Medina County Rape Suspect, Also Facing Murder Indictment

(Cleveland) - Former independent truck driver Samuel Legg pleaded 'not guilty' in relation to a rape that took place in Medina County back in 1997. Then, just a couple of hours after his morning arraignment, he was also indicted in a separate homicide case.

Sharon Kedzierski disappeared back in 1992. Her remains were found by a woman walking her dog near a truckstop off of Interstate 90, in Austintown, Ohio. The body was not positively identified as Kedzierski until 2013.

In addition to the Austintown case, Legg is a suspect and will likely soon be charged in at least three other murder cases. In the meantime, Legg remains jailed in relation to the rape of a young female hitchhiker in the town of Lexington, Ohio, back in 1997.

His bond in the rape case was set at one million dollars.
