Cleveland Area Bank Robber Strikes For Second Time In Four Days

Cleveland - For the second time in four days, the same man has robbed a bank in the Greater Cleveland area, and the Cleveland Division of the FBI is asking for your help in finding him.

This time, on Monday at approximately 1:42 PM, an unknown black male suspect entered and robbed the 5/3rd Bank located at 4800 Madison Avenue in Lakewood..

The unknown suspect approached the teller and verbally demanded money in all denominations except ones.

The suspect was observed exiting the bank on foot and walked north on West 150th.

The man was described as a black male, approximately 50 years of age, 5'10-5'11 tall, slim build with a graying beard. He was wearing a dark knit hat with logo, and dark clothing.

This appears to be the same suspect that committed the bank robbery last Friday of the Key Bank at 3601 Chester Avenue near downtown Cleveland.

Tips can be provided to the Cleveland Division of the FBI, Lakewood Police Department or CrimeStoppers. Tips can remain anonymous. Reward money is available for information leading to the successful identification and prosecution of the responsible individual.
