(Cleveland) - One of our former colleagues has passed away, as word has come about the death of Jay Hudson. Jay was a longtime personality on Lite Rock 106 1/2, and Mix 106.5, eventually becoming Mix's music director and assistant program director. Earlier in his career, Jay was the overnight DJ on WGAR when it was at 1220 on the AM dial, and playing adult contemporary music.
According to Facebook posts, Jay died after losing his battle with cancer.
Jay's funeral will be Friday, February 15, and his family will receive friends on Thursday, February 14, both at Paquelet Funeral Home in Massillon.
