Cleveland Police Sergeant Charged With Soliciting A Prostiute

(Cleveland) There is new informaton about a story we first brought you last week, about a Cleveland Police officer who was under invetigaiton on allegaitons that he had solicited a prostitute. Now, Sergeant Michael Rybarczyk has been charged with 11 counts of solicitation of prostitution, all misdemeanor offenses. The Cleveland Division of Police Internal Affairs Unit conducted the investigation. Charges were filed in Cleveland Municipal Court.

Rybarczyk, 58, is a 29 year veteran of the Division of Police and was most recently assigned to the First District. He has since been placed on restricted duty pending the adjudication of the criminal proceedings.

No details are being released about where or when Sergeant Rybarczik solicitited someone else for sex.
