(Lake County) -- The Lake County Sheriff is warning residents of a hungry and likely diseased coyote. They say the animal was seen on Lake Terrace Drive yesterday in Painesville Township, sniffing garbage cans and going yard to yard. Last month a coyote killed a family pet in Mentor. The Ohio Department of Natural Resources says residents should remove pet food and trash from yards to avoid coyotes.
