Best and Worst Football Cities

(CLEVELAND)  Cleveland finished 30th (out of 244) in a new study for the Best and Worst Football Cities but it did rank number one in an important category: lowest average ticket price for an NFL game. Cleveland averaged $66.34, which is 2.3 times less expensive than in Los Angeles, the city with the highest at $154.94.

Cleveland did finish at the bottom of another category: the New England Patriots’ performance level, 79.2 percentis 4.7 times better than the Cleveland Browns’ 16.7 percent.

With Super Bowl LIII upon us, WalletHub compared more than 240 U.S. cities with at least one college or professional football team across 21 key metrics. The study looked at number of NFL and college football teams to average ticket price for an NFL game to fan friendliness.
