Cleveland - The highest stamp price increase in nearly 30 years begins January 27th.
Back in October, the U.S. Postal Service board of governors requested a five-percent increase to the forever stamp, upping the price to 55 cents.
The USPS said the change would also reduce the additional ounce price of letters.
The Postal Regulatory Commission approved the price changes last month, which is the largest hike in price for the stamp since 1991.
