With Senate Republicans are set to unveil their own legislation to end the partial government shutdown, it's time for Democrats took look at themselves in the mirror and ask themselves what are they actually fighting for.
Are they trying to help out their country, or do they want to hurt their President?
As the process starts, no one expects the Democrats in the Senate will not go along with Sen. McConnell's proposal, but initially that doesn't matter. What matters is how they will react. The fate of the Government, and the 800,000 federal employees who aren't getting paychecks, hinges on the Dems ability to come back with a counter offer.
