Road conditions continue to be hazardous making vehicle travel difficult and dangerous. Most freeways and main roads have been plowed, however continued snowfall and high winds/blowing snow continue to make driving and visibility a challenge.
Many side streets are still very snowy. Citizens are strongly encouraged to travel only if absolutely necessary. Be sure to slow down and give police, fire, EMS and all work crews plenty of room to work on roadways. Also, due to dropping temperatures and unsafe conditions, citizens are strongly encouraged to bring pets inside or provide adequate shelter and warmth.
