Cleveland - Cleveland police searching for the suspect in a shooting that left a 58-year-old woman dead in the McGowan Park area on Cleveland's West Side Thursday night.
According to police, officers responded to the area at 7 p.m. after reports of shots fired.
Witnesses flagged down officers, and the victim, now identified at Sheila Wallace of Cleveland, was found unresponsive with a gunshot wound to her head and pronounced dead at the scene.
Officers say Wallace may have been walking a small dog, which was found nearby.
No witnesses of the actual shooting have been located.
