Avon - The woman responsible for a wrong-way crash in Avon that injured herself and another driver has been charged.
Jennifer Quinn, who was the driver of a vehicle that was involved in a wrong way crash on I-90 in Avon January 2nd ,was formally charged with Aggravated Vehicular Assault, which is a Felony of the 3rd degree.
Investigators working on information obtained during the crash investigation determined that there was probable cause to charge Quinn with Aggravated Vehicular Assault.
Avon Officers took Quinn into custody after her release from University Hospitals Richmond Heights facility on January 15th. She was transported to the Avon Police Department and served with the additional charge.
Quinn posted a $5,000 bond and was released. Her court date was set for 9:00 am on January 22nd in Avon Lake Municipal Court.
Quinn's charges include :
- Aggravated Vehicular Assault Felony 3rd degree
- Operating a motor vehicle while under the Influence Misd 1st degree
- Reckless operation Minor Misdemeanor
- Divided roadways. Minor Misdemeanor
There has been no update on the medical condition of the driver of the vehicle struck by Quinn.
