Cleveland - Police say a 35-year-old man who tried to stop a fight among three other men was shot in the stomach and later died at University Hospitals.
It happened in the parking lot of a gas station in the 1200 block of East 185th Street at about 3:10AM Saturday.
Police say the victim was with another man making a purchase at the gas station.
That's when the man accompanying the victim got involved in a verbal argument with two other males.
The argument then turned physical, and the victim tried to intervene.
That's when he was shot.
Police say both suspects fled, one in a car and one on foot.
The suspects haven't been identified.
