Cleveland Police (WTAM)

(Cleveland) - The man accused of killing a lottery winner last summer pleaded not guilty to murder charges in court today.

Police say 19-year-old Michael Ward is charged with the murder of Isaac Carson Jr. outside Lady Luck's Pub in Cleveland's Nottingham neighborhood on June 5th, 2018.

Carson had recently won $50,000 from the Ohio Lottery before he was killed.

Ward was apprehended by the Northern Ohio Fugitive Task Force in Barberton earlier this week. His bond is set at one million dollars.
