(Cleveland) - Mike DeWine was officially was sworn in as governor shortly after midnight in a private event at his home near Cedarville.
Meanwhile, The public oath of office ceremony for DeWine and Lt. Governor Jon Husted will begin at noon today the Statehouse.
The inaugural gala also will be staged at the Statehouse beginning at 7:30 p.m.Governor DeWine says his will be an open administration, and will look for ideas and solutions not just from Columbus, but from all corners of Ohio.
DeWine tells Newsradio WTAM 1100, that his cabinet is in place, and he wants to quickly begin his term by improving education, and healthcare, while expanding economic development and career opportunities, and fighting the opioid crisis.
