(CLEVELAND) It's "The Untouchables" meets "Close Encounters of the Third Kind" meets "The X-Files" as real life 1950s and 60s UFO stories receive dramatic treatment and enhancement -- all set in Ohio.

HISTORY® debuts a  new drama series Tuesday, January 8th at 10:00 p.m., based on the true, top-secret investigations into UFOs which start at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton and are lead by Ohio State University Astronomer Dr. J. Allen Hynek.

Cleveland is also home to the oldest UFO Group in the World, The Cleveland Ufology Project, started in 1952.

"The Ohio River Valley was the site of a large civilization where they build Indian mounds," says Aaron Clark, Co-Director of Cleveland Ufology. "There might be interesting things in Ohio that draw attention here."

The group meets once a month at Cuyahoga Community College West in Parma. The next meeting is at Friday, January 19th at 7:30 p.m.
